**Edit** Until the move is over and we're settled the comic will be on a break. Comics will start back up either 6/12 or 6/19. Thank you for your patience.*****

Hi all you lovely people ,
There wasn't a comic Friday and I mentioned I would give an update via blog post. Before I start I would like to point out that I'm not trying to complain, I am very blessed in my life, but some things are going on that have been affecting the updates of the comic along with other projects of mine.

First the big one. We are moving again, in two weeks. This is a very good thing for us because it's a bigger place and I'll have my own little office area (which should benefit the comic) but it's also very stressful. Last year when we moved I think the comic stopped updating for a few months, which I'm hoping to avoid this time around.
Second, I am now more preoccupied with my main job of being a stay at home mom. It used to be easier for me to sit down and work on comics when Allen was immobile and taking naps all day. However, we're in full blown toddler mode now which means I'm not on nor near a computer/mobile device as often as I used to. It's a big reason my online presence has died down a bit, so I apologize if I've been missing comics to RT of all my comic buds out there. I try to do that for the ones I see. Ben and I are working on coming up with a schedule so I can work on comics and have them up on time but we probably won't have that all figured out until after the move.

So what does this all mean? Well I want to be realistic with you guys. Right now I am feeling completely overwhelmed and it has not been good for my productivity. I am planning on moving the comic to a once a week update schedule for the time being until we are settled in at the new place. Updates would be on Wednesdays, starting next week. I will be taking this week off.
I will not be asking for guest comics because I feel I've done that too many times since this comic started. If someone makes something then I'll probably post it, but I will not be putting out a formal request.
I apologize that I've dragged on this long with infrequent updates but I want to thank you all for the support you've given me. I want to do better and I think taking this step back will be very beneficial.
Thank you,
Lynn Andrews

Having a toddler is hard work! Don't feel bad for taking time off. After my daughter was born, I kind of burned out a bit. I have been on hiatus since June/July of last year. You know what? Now I'm coming back and I have a clearer head and a better vision. Work it out with the hubs. Talk about schedules, but always do what's best for your family first.

Also... Moving sucks the life out of iu... So... Good luck! :P

I don't think anyone would blame you for taking a bit off, Lynn. Babies grow up and it's important to be there for them (even if they try your patience). Moving is stressful and exhausting. Maybe snap another picture of the Allen or some of the activities ya'll do together. I can't believe how old he is!
