I know video game armor is typically unrealistic but I think it's ridiculous that the breasts would be left unprotected. Especially if you're a vampire. I mean if you're going to live forever, you think you would want to protect those.

It's one of those things that makes it awkward to play games as a woman. Obviously having armor that "enhances" the female form appeals to a certain crowd, but can't we get beyond that? I don't want to play as a man just so I can have a character who is covered up.

Lately the whole video game and women topic has had me analyzing the games I play.

If you haven't heard, there's this awesome gal who is in the process of making a video series about Tropes VS Women in Video Games. However she has been met with horrible opposition that has included threats, cyber bulling, harassment, and a whole lot more of horrid things. This is not right. She has, however been using this situation to bring attention to issue of cyber bulling on the internet. I really hope a lot of good comes out of this situation and that the video series helps.

I've always thought that the armor for women in video games was a bit silly. That's one o the reasons Samus Aran is one o my favorite heroines. Not only does her armor keep her completely covered, but you can't even tell she's a chick with it on.

I totally agree. One of the few well done examples.
