I've been reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz to Allen and oh my goodness there is so much murdering! We're not done with the book, but I'm pretty sure we're over 60 for the body count thanks to the Tin Woodman. He cries about stepping on a beetle but apparently everything else is fair game.

For those celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope you have a wonderful time. I'm thankful to not be spending the holiday in the hospital this year :)

Oh my gosh, those blocks are a real thing? I want some, even though my daughter has outgrown blocks. I want them for me!

We didn't read a whole lot growing up in the south, but I looked for "classic" fairy tales to read to my daughter, and oh my goodness... Hans Christian Anderson was a giant dickbutt, and he was one of the nicer ones.

Ours come from Uncle Goose I believe but I know Think Geek has a different one. I have the complete set of Brothers Grimm but none of Anderson, which might not be a bad thing.
